Howdy everyone!  I'm really looking forward to the reunion and I've enjoyed reading about you all.  Here's how my story goes.  After high school, the last thing I wanted was more school, so I opted to start a family.  About four years later, I was ready to join the work-force.  I went to nursing school twice; first as an LVN, then later as an RN.  I have two children from my first marriage.  My son, Kurt Ramsey is 28 and a sergeant in the Marine Corp.  He is currently attending TAMU in hope of getting a commission in the corp.  His wife, Heather is a math instructor at TAMU and Blinn.  My daughter, Jean Ramsey is 27 and single.  She lives in Dallas and has a degree in Interior Design.  Barry and I started dating again (we dated during our sophomore year at BHS).  We married in 2001 and live along the Gulf Coast of Alabama.  Some of the most beautiful sunsets are found here.

Thanks to all of you back home for working on the reunion.

I worked in Bryan as the Production Manager at the B/CS Eagle until 1996 when I moved to Alabama as Prodution Director for the Baldwin County Newspapers. Alice and I were dating at the time and she moved here in 1999. We were married in 2001. Alice is an RN and I am now a boat captain taking people sailing for a living.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!  Thank you very much to all of you who have organized this event.  It is so strange to see all of us with GROWN kids!  Leah said I should add a photo so here goes!  Jeffrey is 26, graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004 and is a Navy SEAL currently serving in Iraq.  Josh is 24, graduated from UT in 2007 and is training to be a Navy Jet pilot.  We are very proud of both of them but they sure keep us on alert for their safety!  Jeff and I are married almost 27 years and are in the process of building a home in Georgetown Texas.  See you all soon!

An update to the update... Al Saenz and I are now engaged!!  I'll be moving back to Bryan at the end of February 2011 when my lease is up here in Austin.  No wedding date set yet.  Al proposed to me on July 4th, 2010 while we were at Zilker Park watching the fireworks over Lady Bird Lake.  People all around us starting applauding.  It was very cool!  Hope to see some of you when I move back to the old stompin' grounds!

I've been in Austin since '86... teasip country!  But I love it.  I was married for 20 years, and now divorced for six.  I was hired as the secretary for my church a year and a half ago, after working in a doctors' office for a while, and being a stay-at-home mom for 17 years.  My son Michael turned 21 in Feb. and is currently living in York, PA, but we're trying to convince him to come back home!  My daughter Victoria is  18 and just graduated from high school.  She'll be heading to A&M in the fall -- whoop!

A lot has happened in my life since our last reunion -- a divorce, and two brain surgeries!  VERY long story, but you can read the details on the website mentioned above.  I just recently added an update page, so check it out for the latest on me.

UPDATE:  You never know what will happen at class reunions!  Al Saenz and I got reacquainted, starting e-mailing and phone calling.  We had our first date on August 30, during which my purse was stolen from his car while we were in Yesterday's!  But it was found the next day, so it turned out fine.  We've been seeing each other ever since.  It's a long-distance relationship for now, but that will change eventually.  Thanks to good ole BHS and the reunion committee for getting us together!

I know I've been on the "MIA" list for some time, so here's a quickie update...  After leaving BHS, I went to Texas A&M and received a degree in Engineering Technology.  I moved to Austin, and stayed until 1996, when another career opportunity took me to Corpus Christi.  I stayed there a couple years, then missed Austin and moved back. 

I currently work for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, where I deal with our ambient water quality monitoring efforts all across the state.

My Dad retired from Texas A&M after teaching there some 37 years or so, and he and my mother moved to College Station and still live there so I do get back to visit now and then.

I don't have any children - got  divorced before that ever happened - but I have a wonderful woman in my life now who is truly a blessing.  I spend much of my time now with my animals, training and riding Quarterhorses, or spending quality time with my Australian Shepherd.

Hi Everyone!  Can't believe 30 years has already passed by.  I have been married to Mark Carrabba (BHS Class of '75) for 23 yrs.  We have 2 sons, Ross, 21 and Travis, 18.  Ross is in the US Marine Corp. starting his 1st School of Training.  Graduated Boot Camp Feb. 22, '08.  Travis is a freshman at Blinn Jr. College hoping to transfer to Texas A & M in the fall of '09.  With both boys out of the house and on their own, I keep busy with the house and working part-time at Mark's office.  Can't wait to see everyone in July!
